Southern Paramedic Service (SPS) is pleased to announce the acquisition of White River EMS, Inc. effective June 3, 2024. White River EMS has served the Newport and Jackson county citizens for nearly 37 years. SPS looks forward to working with White River EMS to continue providing high quality, professional and efficient ambulance service to Jackson county. Gary Padget, President of SPS, stated that the service name will remain White River EMS and the employees who are currently employed will also remain on staff. SPS looks forward to collaborating with the Newport community and become an active partner in support of the community and county growth and development. SPS extends a warm welcome to White River EMS to our family.
